Engineered at the BMC Impec Lab using expert understanding of composite layup, the Kaius 01 achieves a sub-1kg frameset (size 54) with supreme, data-proven compliance and torsional stiffness for a bike that's not only comfortable but also remarkably fast. The third-generation platform focuses on all-road capabilities, calibrated to use road-smoothing 32–35mm tires while maintaining clearance for gravel-ready 40mm tires. The geometry has been evolved to maintain the essence of endurance: a short rear center, precise BB placement, and responsive front end for swift performance, while the dropped BB, revised head tube angle, and increased stack deliver one of the industry's smallest rear centers for an agile, responsive ride.
